What does it contain?
That is up to you, the user community. The idea is to make this a repository of information that is useful to those who are responsible for making their local youth orchestra a success. Please contribute your knowledge and expertise, for the benefit of our youth and the music, so that we all don't have to re-invent the wheel. The idea is to have many different orchestras contribute information on a variety of topics, so that we all have a place to come to find out "how do other orchestras deal with this?".
How can I contribute?
If you would like to be a contributor -- which I would encourage -- contact us using this form:
http://yomusic.pbwiki.com/contact.php. Tell us your orchestra affiliation and role, and we will send you the site password. Adding or modifiying an entry is incredibly easy!
How to search
Just type a topic in the Search box and hit enter to see where it can be found. You can also a listing of all the existing pages here: Show all pages. This link is also found at the bottom of all pages.
How to edit pages
You can create new pages for new topics, or add to existing pages. What we would like is to have the various orchestras add their comments to the existing pages on a topic, by identifying what orchestra you are associated with in bold type and then adding your comments, as in:

This site is not run by any official organization. If you are curious, it was started by Jeff Yoder, a board member of a youth orchestra who felt that there was a need for this kind of repository of information.
